Environmental, Social & Governance

RARE strives to be a great place to work. We attract and retain good people, by working on interesting and challenging projects and rewarding excellence in our people.

We encourage flexible work arrangements and invest in training and personal growth of our staff, including encouraging the development of new capabilities.

RARE is a privately, Australian-owned company, and involve our staff in decisions around project selection and business direction.

RARE extends our environmental responsibility into the areas in which we work and how we live. Our office is located in the only strata building to have a 5 1/2 star Energy and 6 star Water National Australian Built Environment Rating System (NABERS) rating certification in Australia. We apply this holistic approach to our purchasing and all applicable facets of project delivery.

Rare Enviromental Employees
Our social responsibility is focused on Indigenous outcomes.
RARE is actively working with organisations towards improvements in indigenous youth education through mentoring roles. In our professional engagements, we endeavour to source from indigenous owned businesses where specialist qualifications allow. Our long-term goal is to inspire and assist indigenous youth through developmental opportunities in the science and engineering fields.
