RARE Expands Fleet With Custom Decontamination Trailer

As a result of the catastrophic 2019/2020 bushfire season a substantial amount of asbestos contamination was generated throughout various parts of NSW of which RARE played a significant part in the clean-up and remediation effort, particularly on the South Coast of NSW.

The large volume and expedited timeframes of the work put stresses on the supply of specialist asbestos plant and in particular decontamination trailers. As a result, RARE designed and commissioned the construction of our own Friable Asbestos Decontamination Trailer to assist our working crews and provide us with more responsiveness for our clients.

“A lot of decontamination trailers currently on the market are of a European design and have some flaws in terms of their functionality and usefulness for Australian conditions. It was great to collaborate with the RARE asbestos team gathering everyone’s thoughts, ideas and innovations to be realized into the ultimate site decontamination trailer.

Not only does it look great it helps with decontamination efficiency and functionality contributing to us to delivering better outcomes for our clients” said Rhys Blackburn, Director at RARE Environmental.
